Autotech Group raises money for Brain Tumour Research

Company smashes target to raise over £6,000 for charity

Autotech Group raises money for Brain Tumour Research

Autotech Group’s team has successfully completed the Walk of Hope for Brain Tumour Research in Milton Keynes.

The company raised over £6,000 for this desperately needed research.

Why did Autotech Group chose to support this particular cause? In August, the company’s Gavin White underwent surgery after receiving a brain tumour diagnosis and will now embark on a regime of further treatment. Gavin is not only one of the founders of the company, but also a dear friend of many of the staff.

Gavin is no stranger to supporting various charities, and to mark his recent birthday, Autotech Group felt that the Walk of Hope is a fitting opportunity to both celebrate him and raise funds for this incredibly important cause.

Milton Keynes was the perfect place for the Walk of Hope, being the home of both Brain Tumour Research and Autotech Group.

Each Brain Tumour Research centre needs £1 million a year to sustain the vital discovery research so desperately needed to find a cure for brain tumours. That’s £2,740 every day, per centre.

Autotech Group’s target was to raise £2,740, but thanks to the generosity of 177 supporters, the total raised is £6,144.
