Six employees from Chesterfield-based Autosupplies and its subsidiary, Butlers Automotive of Barnsley, have been rewarded for their sales techniques by O/E European battery manufacturer, Banner Batteries.
Presented with the task of meeting bespoke sales targets over a two month Banner battery promotional period, employees at both outlets of the UAN member and 2017 recipients of the IAAF Car Distributor of Excellence Award were incentivised by the prospect of receiving lucrative Love2Shop vouchers.
Taking top sales performer spot at Autosupplies head office in Chesterfield was Ian Pinnick, who outwitted colleagues Steve Murfin and Karl Whetton into the second and third place respectively.
The promotion even took the attention of front office employee, Andy Holton, with Banner acknowledging his sales efforts by presenting him with a complimentary bottle of wine.
Over at Barnsley-based Butlers Automotive, acquired by Autosupplies last October, the two sales whiz kids were Adam Bargh and Ben Clarke.
Commenting on the success of the promotion, David Clarke, managing director of Autosupplies and Butlers said: “Very often it is the simple things that work and this promotion was a classic example.
“Indeed the enthusiasm showed by those who took part and the sales they generated over the two-month promotional period certainly supports this.
“It was also great to get the new members of our team at Butlers Automotive engaged, as we delighted to have secured their future and intend to grow and develop the name and brand moving forwards.”
