In addition to a whole new look, the web portal has been re-engineered for improved user friendliness.
Banner say finding the optimum replacement battery for a specific vehicle has never been easier. Site visitors simply need to enter the vehicle registration and the search facility does the rest.
Banner has also created an updated log in section within the website that can be personalised to a customer’s own branding too. The new online portal is cross-platform compatible with computer, tablet or mobile device.
There’s also a button-shaped plug-in dongle which can be used to launch the home page automatically on a computer or laptop screen.
Search results now not only display the relevant Banner battery for the particular vehicle in question, they also detail part number, capacity, power rating and Suggested Selling Price (SSP).
A further click through then presents a table of extended technical information, such as the battery’s dimensions, layout, engine compartment location and an estimated time for fitting. Those with access to the log in section can even obtain comprehensive fitting guides too.
Commenting on the new version of its Battery Finder, Country Manager, Lee Quinney said: “Whilst the initial version of the Banner Battery Finder has been widely accepted across our customer base, we are confident that the modifications that have been introduced will serve to further enhance its appeal in terms of both functionality and the information that can be sourced.
“Batteries are far more vehicle specific than ever and the importance of selecting the right battery for a particular vehicle has never been more consequential. This tool makes this process virtually fool proof, which is something you should expect from a company that stands as an OE supplier to such leading vehicle manufacturers such as Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Skoda and VW.”
