Helping to drive forward its position within the automotive aftermarket across the north of England and Scotland, Banner has appointed Kevin Roberts as business development manager (BDM).
Reporting directly to Country Manager, Lee Quinney, Kevin will be responsible for targeting Banner’s diverse and growing customer base of motor factors, garages, independent distributors and other specialist automotive parts outlets.
With more than 11 years experience of the UK aftermarket, having held sales and business development manager positions with the likes of Ecobat Technologies, CES UK and Euro Car Parts, Kevin has a proven track record in sales and key account management, developing strong and sustained customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Prior to moving into the automotive industry, Kevin worked in the financial, life assurance and mortgage sector and is CeMAP qualified, whilst holding Financial Planning Certificates at Level 1, 2 and 3.
As an enthusiastic Kevin states: “I am delighted to get the opportunity to work for one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of original equipment batteries and within such an important sales territory.
“In order to continue to develop Banner’s market penetration across the north of England and Scotland, I shall be looking to focus on four key principles – promoting O/E product quality aligned to price competitiveness, delivering outstanding levels of customer service, and developing long-standing and successful customer relationships.”
Commenting on Kevin’s appointment, Lee Quinney said: “The whole team at Banner is delighted to welcome Kevin into the fold.
“He has a proven track record in the automotive aftermarket and we are confident this will prove instrumental in strengthening Banner’s position across Scotland and the north, both of which are important strategic territories.
“Supplying a first class service to our customer base remains one of our main priorities, together with promoting Banner’s original equipment pedigree, and Kevin will help spearhead this moving forwards.”
