Watch: GWTV learns what makes Carbon Clean unique

GWTV sat down with Carbon Clean’s head of business development, Ben Rudge, to learn what it is that makes the offering so unique.

“Carbon, as all garages know, is a massive issue now, due to ‘short-journey-vehicles’ and poor fuel quality,” said Ben.

“Each Carbon Clean treatment presents a possible £99 profit every time, and every vehicle on the road is a potential Carbon Clean, because every car, regardless of whether it runs ok or not, has carbon build-up.”

The recently appointed Suffolk-based Carbon Clean Centre, Needham Analysis Ltd, talked to GWTV to share garage owner Roy Baker’s experience with the revolutionary technology.

“I wanted a product that was environmentally friendly, and, more importantly, that works; I must admit that I was skeptical about how a vehicle could be cleaned by water, but the machine has totally proved itself, and I’ve had excellent results and feedback from all of the customers that I’ve serviced.

“Every one of them has come back with excellent returns on fuel, excellent returns on emissions, better torque and the engines are running much smoother.”

Carbon Clean machines use water as a raw material, breaking it down into an oxyhydrogen (HHO) gas mixture through electrolysis.

Once cooled, the HHO is then blown into the engine to accelerate combustion, lifting deposits from the surfaces and ejecting them through the exhaust, thanks to the catalytic properties of hydrogen.

Using no harsh detergents and taking just half an hour to complete, the treatment returns vehicle engines to a nearly-new state of cleanliness.

The unit takes just a couple of minutes to initially set up for use and requires very little maintenance.

Once filled, the filter will only need to be topped up approximately every 6 months.

The unit will run entirely on water and electricity, making it very economical to run, and great for the environment.

Roy continued: “It does what it says in the literature; it’s an excellent piece of kit, it’s extremely easy to use and the rewards are quite high.”

Needham Analysis Ltd has been so impressed by the equipment that the business is even considering expanding to offer mobile carbon cleans too, having already had several enquiries from people who would like to have the treatment performed at home on their driveways.
