Castrol has released two new engine oils specifically formulated for Renault vehicles: Castrol GTX 0W-16 AN2022 and Castrol GTX 0W-20 RN17 FE.
These fully synthetic lubricants boast a “3X Clean” technology that tackles engine sludge buildup, promoting longer engine life and improved fuel efficiency.
The 0W-16 AN2022 caters to Euro 7 compliant Renault petrol engines launched since 2022, meeting Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance standards and exceeding industry specifications. This oil offers excellent anti-sludge performance and improved piston cleanliness. The 0W-20 RN17 FE is designed for a wider range of Renault and Dacia petrol and diesel engines from 2018 onwards, meeting the latest European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) standards and Renault’s RN17FE approval.
Both formulations come in various pack sizes for user convenience and will be available for purchase from July 2024. Castrol GTX’s trusted reputation for engine oil development is further solidified with these new offerings, designed to maximise the performance and lifespan of Renault engines.
