Castrol has introduced a new low-viscosity engine oil, Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE, specifically designed for a wide range of Peugeot, Citroën, DS, and Vauxhall models.
The oil is suitable for petrol and diesel engines introduced since 2018, where the manufacturer recommends PSA B71 2010 specifications. It also meets industry standards like ACEA C5/C6 and API SP.
This new lubricant simplifies workshop inventory management, as it’s compatible with nearly 40% of the combined car parc of these brands in select European markets.
Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE is formulated for modern driving conditions, where most engine wear occurs during start-up, acceleration, deceleration, and idling.
The oil’s “clinging like a magnet” technology provides 50% better engine wear protection, safeguarding critical components like the valvetrain, timing chain, pistons, and bearings.
