ClickMechanic’s co-founder Andrew Jervis has been shortlisted from a record number of 4800+ applications, for the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year category representing London in the Regional Finals of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom.

Andrew Jervis said: “It’s thrilling to be a finalist for the award and part of the Great British Entrepreneur Award community.

“I’m thankful for my co-founder Felix Kenton and the ClickMechanic team for their dedication and resilience without which we could not have made it through the last 18 months.”

The online car repair platform was founded in 2012 with a vision of making car care easy for everyone everywhere. ClickMechanic works with 1000s of independent businesses including mechanics and garages across the UK by connecting them with customers looking for car repairs and servicing.

As a direct response to the covid crisis, the company introduced measures such as a contact-free car repair feature.

This has contributed to a record-breaking year for the London-based startup making it a strong contender for the 2021 award.

ClickMechanic has previously been recognised and awarded for its innovation and disruptive technology by Amazon Growing Business Awards and the Workshop Power Awards.

Earlier this year, the company was also highly commended by The Forum for its excellence in Innovation and Transformation in Customer Operations.

Matt Newing, an investor in ClickMechanic said: “Despite it being a tough year for entrepreneurs, Andrew Jervis and the ClickMechanic team have displayed incredible perseverance, and I am thrilled they made the shortlist.

“Needless to say, I am rooting for Team ClickMechanic at the Finals later this year.”

The Awards have celebrated some outstanding entrepreneurs who have gone on to become household names.

Previous winners include the founders of Grenade, Tangle Teezer, The LAD Bible, Clearscore & The Cambridge Satchel Company.

Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Francesca James, said: “We have seen some incredible finalists over the years, and this year is no exception.

“It really is one of the strongest shortlists we’ve ever had, and the fact that so many exceptional people have applied during such a tough year is a testament to the resolve and entrepreneurial talent that exists across the UK.”
