Dayco has released a step-by-step video guide showing technicians how to install the front and rear wheel bearings on the popular 2018 VW Golf Mark VII.

Dayco’s national sales manager, Steve Carolan said: “Despite the fact that wheel bearing replacement is a relatively common task, there is still some confusion among technicians between the different wheel bearing technologies and the fitting procedures that need to be followed to install them correctly.

“The production of first, the step-by-step guide and now the installation video, is a great way for us to address the differences and demonstrate the best practice procedures that need to be followed to replace wheel bearings with confedence.

“The Dayco range encompasses Generation 1, 2 and 3 technology, as well as bearings integrated into the brake disc, reflecting the current European vehicle parc and providing workshops with the replacement products they need day-to-day.”

Dayco is a supplier of original equipment (OE) components to vehicle manufacturers across Europe and around the world.

It is also a major player in the aftermarket, with wheel bearings as part of its growing range of products, many of which are supported by technical advice and installation guidance.

Great, for the irritating ‘music’ nil poi That just ruined it, the words odd times flashed up too quick.

Weird how it didn’t need to be took to official dealership to be on- line coded

Why would a manufacturer not put rfid chips in everything to cause as much inconvenience & environment damage as possible. What if your country don’t have a dealership & nearest is 7 hour boat ride away!
