DENSO aftermarket hosts tropical-themed golf day for customers

DENSO UK Aftermarket held its annual golf day at The Belfry, offering customers and guests a chance to connect in a relaxed setting.

“The aftermarket is a competitive industry, full of hardworking professionals, who have to cope with long hours and the pressures of the clock,” explained DENSO’s UK and Eire Sales Manager, Kevin Peacocke, “so it’s always nice to rein back from these day to day realities and enjoy a little leisure time, which is what our golf day is all about.

The event followed a familiar format: a four-ball tournament alongside individual competitions like longest drive and nearest the pin. Dinner, drinks, and an awards ceremony rounded out the day.

To add some fun, DENSO opted for a tropical theme, a contrast to the UK’s lackluster summer. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, allowing for outdoor activities and entertainment by a steel drum band.

The four-ball competition winners were Rizwan Khan and Imtiaz Sange (Moffatts) alongside James Rahill and Chris Green (Involution).

Individual competition winners included Mike Carter (ECP) for nearest the pin, Matthew Rumble (ECP) and Iain Knox (CD Group) for longest drive, and Scott Bramley (Merlin Diesel) for most enthusiastic drive.

“Summing up, we had a great day with our customers and friends and very much look forward to doing it all  again in 2025!”
