Workshops purchasing DENSO spark plugs or oxygen sensors to be rewarded with retro wall plate

DENSO announces combined spark plug and oxygen sensor promotion

Workshops can request a decorative ‘Best service in town’ retro wall plate featuring DENSO’s renowned Iridium and Nickel TT spark plugs, when they purchase spark plugs and O2 sensors from participating distributors.

Keeping its ignition theme going throughout March, DENSO is introducing a spark plug and oxygen sensor promotion alongside it existing campaign for glow plugs.

“For our second ignition promotion of the year, we’re again working with our distributors to reward workshops purchasing DENSO spark plugs or oxygen sensors, by supplying them with a stylish and attractive retro wall plate, featuring our two TT spark plugs and the slogan ‘Best service in town’, which is sure to grab the attention of their customers and assure them of the quality of the service they’ll receive.

“While they are there, those who have yet to sign up to our online training programme can do so by clicking the ‘E-LEARNING’ tab and benefit from our interactive, IMI accredited training.

“The courses are free and will help them in their career development.

“Each module, which include spark plugs, glow plugs, starters, alternators and air conditioning systems, can be completed separately and at their own speed, as the progress is saved on the system as they go along.”

DENSO has been setting the standard for spark plug technology since as far back as 1959 and has long-focused on providing original equipment (OE) quality spark plugs to the aftermarket, with all ranges designed and manufactured in the company’s own QS 9000 and ISO 9000 certified factories worldwide, with zero defects as standard.

For outstanding performance every time, DENSO produces a range of spark plugs with electrodes manufactured using advanced materials, which significantly reduce wear.

Applying advanced technology, such as DENSO’s Twin Tip, results in even greater performance over a longer period of time.

In order to operate efficiently, an internal combustion engine requires the correct ratio of air and fuel in its cylinders during the combustion process.

By measuring the amount of oxygen in the exhaust, oxygen sensors allow the engine management system to make the necessary adjustments to remain as close as possible to the mixture ideal.

These measurements now need to be so precise, that many vehicles feature several oxygen sensors situated in the exhaust system, both before and after the catalytic converter.

As with all of DENSO’s aftermarket products, its range of oxygen sensors are designed and manufactured to OE specification, so provide workshops with the perfect fit and forget replacement solution.
