Multi award winning engine decontamination specialist, EDT Automotive has promoted Adam Woodcraft to the newly-created position of technical director as part of the business’ growth plans for 2018.
Having previously worked for 12 years as an electronics engineer, Adam joined EDT five years ago as the company’s technical engineer, and, after showing much promise in the role, was soon promoted to technical manager.
Adam said: “I’m grateful for all of the new opportunities that David and the rest of the EDT team have presented me with during my time with the company.
“As technical director, my main objective for the forthcoming months is to enhance the 24/7 technical support capabilities throughout the EDT network in line with our recent growth.
“I’m also going to be looking at how EDT’s machines can be adapted into new market areas, which should be a really interesting challenge. This is an important time for the business, and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Now in its fifth year of trading, EDT has recently expanded its workforce and extended its premises to better cater to the numerous additions to its network.
To date, the engine decontamination specialist has treated over 82,000 vehicles with its fuel-saving and emissions-busting technology, and retains a near-perfect TrustPilot score from its garage partners and their customers.
