ELTA Automotive, a supplier of automotive bulbs to the aftermarket, has invested in a state-of-the-art light testing facility, one of only a few in the UK and Europe.
This new facility, equipped with a 5-megapixel imaging photometer, enables ELTA to accurately measure light output and beam patterns in compliance with stringent industry regulations, including Regulation 112.
“At ELTA, we’re immensely proud to support the aftermarket, providing a real alternative to OE products that empowers distributors to remain competitive and win business from main dealers,” says Tim Brotherton, Marketing Manager at ELTA Automotive. “We believe choice is essential—one price point cannot meet the diverse needs of the market.”
ELTA’s focus on quality has earned the trust of major industry players, including Lucas and Halfords. The company is dedicated to providing the aftermarket with a competitive alternative to OE products.
The new light testing facility will not only enhance product quality but also serve as a showcase for ELTA’s commitment to innovation and excellence. By inviting customers and industry figures to visit, ELTA aims to build trust and confidence in its products and the aftermarket as a whole.
“Our new light testing facility isn’t just about advancing our capabilities—it’s about inspiring our customers and distributors,” concludes Brotherton. “We want to demonstrate that exceptional quality, performance, and safety are achievable without compromising on affordability or the freedom of choice that defines the aftermarket.”
