ELTA Automotive Ltd, specialist supplier of premium quality electrical and vision related components, is using Automechanika Birmingham in June as the centre-piece of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
ELTA is a strong, family-owned business with an impressive history supplying products to the independent aftermarket under various brands, including its own ELTA label and both Lucas Electrical and XEVO, as well as for some of the leading names in the industry.
Elta managing director, Ian Hallam said: “Automechanika in June is an extremely important occasion in the company’s proud history.
“As it will be the first national appearance of our new VISIONPRO and VXPRO brands and mark a turning point for the business, as we embark on the next 25 years of our development.
“As well as providing the opportunity for us to engage with visitors and for them to take a look at the comprehensive range of driving vision/vehicle sense and control electronics products and the contemporary brand design, we are using the occasion to project our technical competence through the show’s seminar programme.”
Held in the ‘technical training hub’ in the ‘garage quarter’ at Automechanika Birmingham and designed to equip technicians with greater knowledge and understanding, ELTA will use its seminar spot to highlight the importance of comprehensive diagnosis before simply changing one of the ever-increasing number of sensors in the modern vehicle.
Ian added: “Using our TECHASSIST technical expertise, we will demonstrate that drilling down to find the underlying fault is the key to the correct prognosis and as well as yielding better results, following a structured procedure will improved workshop efficiency by saving time and money.”
In addition to its in-show activity, as a sign of its commitment to the technicians tasked with repairing the nation’s vehicles, ELTA is also sponsoring the ‘Large Garage’ category of the ‘Garage of the Year’ awards, held during Automechanika.
