South East based independent dealer group, Endeavour Automotive, has launched a brand-new, 14,000 square foot trade parts distribution centre in London, adjacent to its Hyundai franchise in New Southgate.
The refurbished warehouse and office space enables the company to consolidate its parts business for Volvo and Hyundai at a single, strategic location, which will streamline operations, reduce logistical costs and benefit more than 600 customers across the capital and as far north as Bedfordshire.
Led by group parts manager, Earl Kelchure, the centre will offer three daily deliveries and revenue is expected to top £2 million in 2019.
Already in 2019, Endeavour Automotive has grown by 25 per cent, having expanded its business into Berkshire with the acquisition of three Volvo dealerships from HSF Group, located in High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Slough.
The company now operates from 16 locations across London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex, representing Volvo, Hyundai, Lotus and the London EV Company (LEVC), which produces zero-emission taxis.
Its latest purchase, for an undisclosed sum, has boosted Endeavour Automotive’s Volvo portfolio by 50 per cent to nine sites, making it one of the largest independent Volvo retailers in the UK.
Commenting on the company’s developments, John Caney, chief executive officer, Endeavour Automotive, said:
“Since we started trading in 2012, the retail automotive sector has experienced something of a roller-coaster period but we continue to respond positively to market conditions and forecast delivering revenue in excess of £200 million this financial year.
“The expansion of our Volvo portfolio and opening of a new parts distribution centre brings an additional sixty colleagues to Endeavour’s team who we look forward to working with as we continue to strengthen and grow the business.”
