Euro Car Parts has announced plans to build a new UK distribution centre.
The 778,000 sq ft facility will be build on the Birch Coppice Estate in Dordon, Staffordshire with 47,500 sq ft of offices and training suites. Euro Car Parts’ current warehousing on the same estate will be retained and transformed into a specialist facility for collision, coatings and green parts.
ECP say the the facility will stock over 150,000 different product lines and despatch over 200,000 items each night to the branch network. The company will use an investment from LKQ Corporation to develop the facility, which it says will secure over 1,350 jobs for the local area.
