Euro Car Parts (ECP) have unveiled Euro Academy, a technical resource designed specifically to support independent garages.
With online and telephone helpdesks being readily available, technicians will have access to technical information on any marque and model quickly and from a reliable database that sees over 2,500 repair details added per week.
Supported by Grup Eina, the initiative covers all areas of vehicle maintenance including electrical, mechanical and diagnostic fault-finding and offers total assessment and training solutions for every level of workshop employee.
‘Master technicians’ are granted access to one of ECP’s training centres which hold more than thirty cars fitted with electronic fault simulators and are all able to replicate real-life vehicle issues.
Martin Gray, UK chief executive officer at ECP said: “We’re delighted to build on our commitment to the independent garage.
“Technology continues to evolve, with alternatively-fuelled vehicles and connected technology all making their way into the garage it is important that the industry is in a position to respond.”
