Euro Car Parts expands Optimal range

LKQ Euro Car Parts has further expanded its offering for independent garages by adding a new range of steering knuckles to its OPTIMAL product line.

Steering knuckles are the pivot points of the steering system and are designed to help maintain comfortable steering and suspension.

With many modern vehicles becoming bigger and heavier, steering and suspension components are being put under greater stress.

This can result in excessive wear, corrosion or distortion of the steering knuckle, meaning it needs to be replaced to prevent steering alignment being compromised, which can lead to poor handling and uneven tyre wear.

For 30 years the OPTIMAL brand has gained a reputation for quality engineering.

OPTIMAL’s professional range, which is supported by a three-year warranty, is fitted with confidence by technicians at major utility vehicle maintenance departments.

OPTIMAL’s range is manufactured in line with OE methods, using quality materials, and tested to withstand temperatures from 120°C to -40°C.

OPTIMAL parts are accredited to ISO/TS 16949 and also carry the highly sought after TÜV SÜD certification. TÜV SÜD is an internationally renowned independent organisation for undertaking safety, testing, certification, auditing and advisory services.

Colin Cottrell, marketing director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “OPTIMAL strives to constantly evolve and improve its range of parts, with a focus on research and development to both enhance existing products and launch new ones.

“The new steering knuckles range will help garages to promptly service customers’ steering and suspension needs, as our range is available off the shelf so there is no need for a special order.

“Also, that these components are manufactured to the tightest tolerances with a high accuracy of fit saves installation time for the technician.

“Being able to explain to their customers the benefits these parts will bring will also help garages to engage them in repairs and empower them to make their own decisions when it comes to their vehicles, an important way to drive loyalty and trust.”
