Garages urged to consider workshop heating sooner rather than later

Many garages wait until January before investing or upgrading heating but it's often too late, warns ECP

Garages urged to consider workshop heating sooner rather than later
With winter weather conditions arriving earlier each year, heating needs to be made a priority if workshops are to avoid being left out in the cold.

Garages are being advised by Euro Car Parts to consider their workshop heating requirements, as Britain braces itself for a cold snap.

To prepare for the winter months, Euro Car Parts has expanded its portfolio of industrial heaters to include the established AmbiRad range of radiant gas heaters.

The company also stocks a number of mixed fuel heaters, including products from Thermobile and Hiton.

Euro Car Parts is also experiencing increasing demand for its new heater booster products, which can be retrofitted to existing heaters for 91 per cent heating efficiency.

The products slot neatly to flue systems, making them simple to install.

Bill Stimson, technical sales director at Euro Car Parts, said: “We are already experiencing an uplift in sales of gas heaters compared to the same time last year, which indicates that many garages are starting to think about their heating requirements.

“For many, this will be the first time their heaters are turned on following the summer period.

“We advise our customers to check their heaters now before it gets too cold. It is important that any repairs, services, or replacements are completed quickly, to ensure maximum performance during winter months and avoid any lengthy waits in peak season.”
