Matt Cleevely, founder of Cleevely Electric Vehicles, will be a key speaker at The Blend 2024, a conference aimed at independent garage owners. He will share his expertise and encourage garages to prepare for the rise of electric vehicles (EVs).
The Blend takes place on 28 September in Birmingham and will offer workshops practical strategies to attract and retain EV customers.
“Cleevely EV just so happened to be the UK’s first independent EV specialist – that’s why we’ve seen the success we have,” said Matt. “I’m appealing to other garages to be the first in their county, city or town because there’s plenty of EV work for all of us.”
The UK government’s ZEV mandate is driving a rapid increase in EVs on the road. Manufacturers must now sell a minimum number of zero-emission vehicles each year, pushing the growth of battery electric cars.
Cleevely is one of many industry experts speaking at The Blend, alongside figures from Got Boost, TechTopics, and Auto IQ. New speakers will offer fresh perspectives on the evolving automotive landscape.
“The Blend brings a unique chance for garage owners to exchange knowledge, tackle the challenges, and ensure our businesses thrive in this ever-evolving market,” said Matt. “It’s been another incredibly busy year for us, which is of no real surprise when you consider the number of EVs coming of MOT age. You only need to look at the data to realise this is a fast-growing market. I can’t wait to share my latest data and lessons learnt at The Blend 2024, which is a continuation of last year’s presentation.”
The conference format offers attendees a choice of speakers and access to trade stands showcasing the latest innovations for garages, before an evening dinner and entertainment round out the event.
Tickets for The Blend cost £150 + VAT and can be purchased online by clicking here.
Any profit from the event, which is not-for-profit, will be donated to automotive charity Ben.
