Servicesure is a network that thrives on its reputation with customers and consumers, so adding a new garage member with a hefty social media following this autumn was a coup for the programme.
MNJ Autocare is run by Jody Bevan, an Oldham-based technician with 26 years’ experience who has found online fame as a successful YouTuber with her popular channel, ‘Auto Lass’. Jody’s channel is dedicated to building an online community of vehicle maintenance and classic car rebuild enthusiasts.
During the pandemic, Jody wanted to use her passion for classic cars to encourage people to work on their own vehicles at home and even bring in a younger audience to ignite their passions for classic and retro motoring. All this whilst using her platform to promote women in the automotive industry and sustainable skills as an ambassador for the Association of Heritage Engineers.

“Through their hard work and willingness to go above and beyond for whatever she needs, Jody knows our Oldham branch will always deliver, whether it’s parts everyday vehicles in her garage business or hard-to-source products for restoration jobs. That relationship led to Jody joining Servicesure in September of this year and this a great signing for us.”
One of Auto Lass’ most successful and popular video series amongst her 13,300 YouTube subscribers is her annual charity classic car restoration. Done to raise money for Help for Heroes, a donated car is rebuilt from the ground up and raffled off on Remembrance Day to a lucky winner. This year, a 1975 MG Marshall was lovingly and extensively restored to a fantastic, modern yet authentic, example in homage to Queen Elizabeth II with a military theme.
Ben continued: “The restoration work and content created for the Auto Lass channel is a real labour of love. The whole project is staffed by volunteers, trained mechanics and specialists who give up their spare time – including on evenings and weekends – for a worthy cause. It’s a brilliant chance for them to dip into their passion and work on the type of cars they truly love.”
