FORVIA HELLA, a leading global automotive supplier, has been honoured with the CLEPA Innovation Award for its innovative intelligent power distribution module (iPDM).
This prestigious award, presented by the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA), recognises outstanding achievements in the automotive industry.
“We are honoured to receive the CLEPA Innovation Award,” said Dr. Olaf Lüdtke, Vice President Product Segment Body Control at FORVIA HELLA, at the ceremony. “The award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, which is committed every day to driving the transformation of the automotive industry as well as connected and automated driving.”
The iPDM is designed to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted power supply, even in critical situations such as automated driving. It utilises software-controlled electronic fuses (eFuses) to prevent power outages and maintain essential vehicle functions.
This recognition highlights FORVIA HELLA’s commitment to driving innovation and shaping the future of mobility. The iPDM is scheduled to enter series production for a German car manufacturer in 2025.
