FORVIA is showcasing its latest sustainable solutions for commercial vehicles at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany.
FORVIA has unveiled its first-ever truck seat range, offering up to 40% CO2 reduction compared to other market solutions. These seats feature a lightweight design, in-built seatbelts, and advanced suspension for enhanced safety and comfort.
Next up are hydrogen storage solutions that are suitable for a wide range of commercial vehicles, from light-duty to heavy-duty and off-road applications. These offer seamless integration and are compatible with both hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2 ICE) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEV).
Finally, there is a range of sustainable lighting products for commercial vehicles, including a new aerodynamic headlamp and roof marker concept. Additionally, they are presenting innovative electronic concepts and sensors for smart energy management and enhanced interior comfort.
With FORVIA being dedicated to achieving net-zero emissions by 2045, including reducing carbon emissions by 45% by 2030, the move to sustainable technologies, streamlined production processes, and a focus on reducing emissions across its value chain is key.
