HELLA brings more than 150 new part numbers to market

HELLA continues to grow its product offering, underlining its position as a trusted aftermarket supply partner.

Highlighting its prowess as a leading lighting specialist, warning beacons, spotlights and work lamps all feature in a raft of recent introductions, but it’s the LED and Matrix LED headlight units for the likes of the Audi Q3 Sportback and Q8 that underline the company’s preeminent position in contemporary lighting technology.

However, as can be seen from the other new additions, there is so much more than lighting in the HELLA portfolio.

Sensors play an increasingly important role in the modern vehicle and as a prominent OE supplier, it’s little surprise that more than 30 have been brought into the aftermarket range, including air mass, parking distance control and 14 wheel speed sensors for the heavy duty segment including DAF LF 45 and FA 45, MAN SL II and SL 202, Mercedes ACTROS MP2 and MP3, Scania 4-series and Volvo FH12 and FH 12/500.

Emphasising the broad spectrum of electrics and electronics also employed in current vehicle design, rotating machines remain an aftermarket staple, with 18 starters and alternators, as well as 10 ignition coils joining their respective ranges, alongside fuel pumps and, on the emissions control side, three EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valves, including for the Kia Rio II.

Commenting on these additions, marketing manager, Helen Goldingay said: “Supporting our immediate customers and enabling them to supply workshops with more of the parts they need to service and repair the vehicles in their service bays, is why we’re here.

“So, by providing wholesalers with the opportunity to source more OE quality replacements from a single supplier, we are able to add value to all levels of the independent repair sector.”
