HELLA reports a successful showing at the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event, with their focus on diagnostics, interactive displays, and ADAS expertise drawing significant interest.
The event, held at the NEC Birmingham on 5/6 June, saw HELLA showcase its latest equipment, including the Mega Macs X diagnostic tool and the Hella Gutmann MT-HV, designed for servicing hybrid and electric vehicles.
“Our stand was busy across both days,” said Julian Goulding, Head of Sales at Hella Gutmann. “Garage owners and technicians were keen to find out more about our customisable diagnostic equipment as well as our specialised solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles.”
The company’s flexible offering proved to be a winner: “Our variable software and licensing models that give workshops the option to upgrade their licence to unlock additional new functionality at any time received a definite thumbs-up from visitors,” said Julian.
The company also offered a “spin the wheel” competition, with six lucky winners taking home a macsRemote vehicle communication interface worth £850 each.
HELLA Gutmann’s macsRemote Services were also a highlight. “We demonstrated how technicians can connect the macsRemote VCI to the vehicle for remote access by our technical experts,” explained Julian. “Those we spoke to agreed that it’s a cost-effective pay-as-you-go solution because there are no ongoing license charges.”
HELLA UK’s Technical and Training Manager, Steve Fox, hosted a well-attended presentation titled “The ADAS Opportunity for Independent Garages.” “Being able to properly calibrate ADAS systems is increasingly crucial for independents,” said Steve. “My presentation explained garages can plan and invest accordingly.”
“There was a real buzz on the HELLA stand, and at Steve’s presentation. We were able to demonstrate to mechanics and business owners how the right diagnostic tools can make all the difference to a garage.”
