KYB has announced further improvements to its data and visibility on TecDoc.
A dedicated team of people work full time to ensure that the KYB catalogue data is up to date and accurate, ensuring customers have access to the most relevant data.
To be awarded as an A rated supplier, product descriptions must conform by at least 99% to TecAlliance standards.
In addition to the above, KYB has been chosen to be included in a TecAlliance pilot scheme that will see new data added to Tec Doc go live in 6 days- a huge improvement on the current month and a half.
The pilot scheme will go live in August 2019.
KYB can already claim to be the market leader when it comes to new to range shock absorbers – recent car parc data shows the KYB range has over 5 million more European cars covered under 5 years old than its nearest competitor – and with KYB one of the only major shock absorber manufacturers chosen for this huge improvement to speed of data visibility, this will only get better.
“KYB is able to get new shock absorbers quicker to market than any other manufacturer for a number of reasons,” explains Jean François Huan, general manager of product management for KYB Europe Aftermarket.
“KYB is OE to 1 in 5 cars worldwide, meaning we are first to market with these units immediately.
“For all others, we have research departments situated across the world, a huge development facility in Japan and a fitting and testing centre here in France.
“Being able to add new data on TecDoc in 6 days is the next step in getting our product available and visible for our customers quicker than anyone else.”
