KYB Europe gets new president

Fumihiko Izumi has replaced Takashi Saito as president of KYB Europe GmbH, the company has announced.

Izumi joined KYB over 30 years ago, in 1989.

He has had roles in a variety of other KYB regions including Europe and Asia (Thailand).

He has worked for the automotive planning division since 2017 and then moved to be President of KYB Manufacturing Czech in 2020.

Izumi says his plans for the future are to “be successful in business throughout Europe as one strong team”.

He officially took over as president on 23 June.

Takashi Saito has been President of KEU since February 2021, prior to which he was an audit and supervisory board member, then managing executive officer. He will now return to KYB Corporation in Japan.
