KYB goes carbon neutral for Automechanika Frankfurt

Donation to environmental charity to offset C02 footprint from account journeys, stand production and hospitality

KYB goes carbon neutral for Automechanika Frankfurt

Supplier of automotive shock absorbers, coil springs and suspension mounting kits, KYB Europe Aftermarket will be exhibiting at Automechanika in Frankfurt later this year.

With colleagues travelling from all over Europe, as well as Japan and America, KYB wanted to limit the impact which attending this major automotive event would have on the environment.

Taking into account flights, car journeys, booth manufacture, food and drink preparation and accommodation, the amount of CO2 due to be generated was calculated using an independent online specialist.

To offset this, KYB has made a donation to an environmental charity towards their work on combatting climate change.

This is part of KYB’s global commitment to corporate social responsibility.

During Automechanika, KYB will be showcasing it’s growing portfolio of support tools which are aimed at helping the technicians who fit KYB products.

This includes the new KYB suspension solutions app, which has some exciting new additions to be launched exclusively at the show.

Jordan Day, marketing manager for KYB Europe Aftermarket, said: “KYB believes that training and support are key elements in the success of its customers.

“KYB is continuing to invest in and expand the valuable range of technician support tools, Automechanika is a great platform to demonstrate what is available to existing and potential customers.

“Crucially, it also gives us the opportunity to speak to a vast number of people from many different countries and receive feedback on how we can keep improving our suspension solutions support program.”

The suspension solutions programme also includes 360 degree images, fitting videos, part-specific fitting advice via QR codes and online technical support.
