As the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship kicks off this coming weekend (April 22-23) at Donington Park circuit, Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport driver Jake Hill is keen to get back behind the wheel again after successful test sessions in his WSR-prepared BMW 330e M Sport.
Jake has a positive perspective and attitude for the 2023 challenge: maximum attack, to achieve as many podiums and as many wins as he can.
“It’s been a long winter of building things up, so it was really exciting to get going with the official season launch at Brands Hatch last week,” said Jake.
At this season’s launch testing he headed the rear-wheel drive runners in the BMW, setting the fastest time in the afternoon session before heavy rain ended any serious running.
“The day itself was a bit interrupted with the mixed weather conditions but it was amazing to see so many BTCC fans and family make the effort to come out and see us despite the rain.
“I can’t wait to get out there this weekend at Donington, we’ve got high hopes for the season so I’m glad the talking can stop now and we can focus on the real thing.”
The action gets underway with free practice at 9.30am on Saturday morning, before qualifying at 3.40pm. There are three rounds on Sunday, all of which can be watched live on ITV 4.
