Laser Tools has non-marring solution for classic car and show vehicle maintenance

Classic car and show vehicle owners often face a challenge: keeping the lovely look of pristine fasteners alongside the paintwork. Standard tools can end up damaging chrome plating or anodised finishes.

Laser Tools has come up with a solution, though. Their non-marring imperial (AF) socket insert set (part number 8468). These inserts are designed to protect plated, anodised, or painted fasteners during maintenance.

The set includes four inserts in different sizes:

  • 3/8″ to fit a 1/2″ socket
  • 7/16″ to fit a 9/16″ socket
  • 1/2″ to fit a 5/8″ socket
  • 9/16″ to fit an 11/16″ socket

The inserts are made from a durable PA6 nylon and glass fibre composite for long-lasting use. They can be used with sockets or ring spanners and come with a handy storage ring.

The imperial sizing is ideal for classic cars and motorcycles, although a metric version (part number 7463) are also available.
