Laser Tools has launched a new ball joint splitter specifically designed for Land Rover Discovery V, Range Rover IV, and Range Rover Sport II models. This heavy-duty tool (part number 8899) is built for efficiency and durability.
Made from heat-treated 45 carbon steel, the ball joint separator is resistant to wear and tear. The scissor-type design allows for easy application, requiring only adjustments and tension to separate the joint. A light tap with a hammer is then recommended to complete the separation.
“This is a specialist tool built for a specific job,” explains a Laser Tools spokesperson. “By targeting these Land Rover models, we offer mechanics a tool designed for their needs.”
For optimal performance and tool life, Laser Tools recommends following manufacturer instructions and using black molybdenum disulphide grease for lubrication.
The new ball joint splitter is available now from Laser Tools stockists and online retailers.
