The Lucas Oil-sponsored DAMS Racing Team extended its lead in the Formula 2 Championship meeting at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France, last weekend.
Pole position (4pts) and second place in the feature race (18pts) for Sergio Sette Camara, was supported by a 5th place (10pts) from Nicholas Latifi.
The healthy haul of 32 points from the opening event was increased in the sprint race.
Camara finished 5th (6pts) and Latifi was just behind him in 6th place (4pts).
DAMS has increased its lead on the overall Team Championship to 46 points.
In the Driver’s Championship, Latifi is second with Camara well-placed in 4th.
Founded in 1988, DAMS has won 13 drivers’ titles, 12 Team Championships and has scored 142 race victories.
To date, 31 of its drivers have moved up to Formula 1.
