Lucas Oil has extended its sponsorship agreement with 2019 F2 Team Championship winners DAMS, to include the 2021 season.
With 15 driver titles, 16 team titles and 167 victories, the French-owned team is one of the most successful in F2 racing history.
The two cars run on Lucas Oil synthetic racing gear oil.
The team also uses products such as Lucas Oil brake cleaner and a number of items from the slick mist car care range before every race.
Every team uses the same Dallara chassis, Mecachrome engine and Pirelli tyres.
It is therefore up to the individual teams to set the car up and execute a good race strategy – and up to the young drivers to show their talent.
Roy Nissany (Israel) and Marcus Armstrong (New Zealand) will be hoping to follow a string of earlier DAMS F2 drivers who have made the progression into F1.
Dan Morgan, director of sales and operations for Lucas Oil Products (UK) said: “Our oils and lubricants are designed for high performance and endurance under extreme driving conditions.
“F2 is a demanding and exciting racing format. It’s a good platform for our Lucas Oil brand.
“We are looking forward to some exciting races and some podium finishes with DAMS.”
