Additives and workshop lubricants manufacturer Lucas Oil has been confirmed as the official sponsor of the Anglesey Football League 2018-19.
The competition, which will be known as the Lucas Oil Anglesey Football League, kicks off on August 11.
A Lucas Oil spokesperson said: “Lucas Oil has maintained a strong affinity with football and local community support in Wales since the universally recognised US brand chose the island as its UK headquaters nearly 20 years ago.
“The Lucas Oil Anglesey Football League enables players of all capabilities to become involved with the game.
“It is part of a pyramid structure that feeds the Welsh Premier League.”
Games will occasionally be televised on the Welsh TV channel S4C, so the agreement provides a media platform to promote a range of products used in everything from cars and motorcycles to trucks and buses.
Opportunities to promote its brand on a much wider perspective are just over the horizon.
Lucas Oil Anglesey Football League clubs will be instrumental in promoting and hosting the football element of the forthcoming international Island Games Tournament in 2019.
The event is second only to the Olympics in terms of international participation.
Anglesey is scheduled to host the full games in 2025.
