Lucas Oil UK has renewed its support for the Lucas Oil Junior Dragster Championship 2019.
Prizes will be provided for both the winner and the runner up at each of the Championship rounds throughout the 2019 season.
Lucas Oil will continue to sponsor a number of individual drag racers.
Among these is junior dragster driver Kaitlan Deevey and former Lucas Oil Junior Dragster driver Brad Jackson.
The 23-year old VW mechanic now races at senior level and is the reigning 2018 UK National Super Pro Champion.
Wayne Jackson, father of Brad and crew chief at Brad Jackson Racing said: “Lucas Oil is justifiably proud to be part of an event that’s designed to encourage youth. It is a strong supporter of our sport.”
He confirms that Brad Jackson Racing and Nick Good Motorsport – which has produced two Super Pro champions in the last three years – will be among the drag racing teams to receive support from Lucas Oil this season.
Dan Morgan, director of sales and operations for Lucas Oil Products (UK), said: “Drag racing is an exciting sport, one that demands dedication and attention to detail. It’s also one that can require a great deal of vehicle maintenance.
“It’s great to have drivers and teams like these associated with our brand. It’s great that they can help us to prove the quality of our products.
“It’s gratifying that we can help them to control their maintenance costs and rewarding to see so many Lucas Oil logos on the winner’s rostrum.”
