MAHLE Aftermarket expands product range for electric vehicles

MAHLE Aftermarket is expanding its product and service portfolio to cater to the growing electric vehicle (EV) market, as the company is focusing on electrification, digitalisation, and sustainability as part of its strategy.

Despite the rise of EVs, MAHLE emphasises that internal combustion engines will continue to be important in many parts of the world for some time to come. They aim to be a full-service provider for all drivetrain types.

MAHLE’s BatteryPRO product line offers workshops a range of solutions for EV maintenance, including safety checks, diagnostics, and battery health assessments. The E-HEALTH Charge product, launched in April 2024, measures the performance of high-voltage batteries in used electric vehicles.

“Battery service is becoming increasingly important,” says Georges Mourad, Director Global Service Solutions at MAHLE Aftermarket. “BatteryPRO provides workshops with the tools they need to maintain electric vehicles effectively.”

MAHLE Aftermarket achieved record sales of nearly €1.3 billion in 2023, demonstrating the strength of the spare parts and service business within the MAHLE Group.

The company aims to support independent workshops in transitioning to the electrified future while continuing to serve customers with traditional vehicles.

With its focus on innovation and comprehensive product offerings, MAHLE Aftermarket positions itself as a key player in the evolving automotive aftermarket.
