Draper Tools, a distributor of tools for professional and consumer use, has committed to providing data to MAM Software’s new accessories catalogue.
The catalogue, which is compatible with MAM’s Autopart software, provides support for tools, equipment, car care, consumables and accessories.
Draper Tools is the latest supplier to confirm it will be supplying the catalogue with its extensive range of products.
Users will be able to use the catalogue to search, filter and compare products from individual brands – including Draper Tools – before adding them to a transaction.
Stock and pricing information is immediately available, enabling counter staff to help their customers make better informed buying decisions.
Draper Tools will be able to upload photographs and specifications to the system, ensuring customers always have access to the latest information.
Products can be made available to every Autocat user, or the company can choose which customers and trade groups will be able to see its data.
The accessories catalogue is among the latest features to be introduced in Autocat v9.1.
Paul Collings, marketing executive at Draper Tools, said: “MAM’s accessories catalogue is an exciting prospect for Draper Tools, it offers users the ability to see detailed product information for over 10,000 Draper products and makes them available to a wider audience too.
“Simple navigation helps you to find what you are looking for and, most importantly, presents users and their customers with a more informed buying decision at the point of sale.”
Tony Mason, MAM Software’s sales manager for data and e-commerce products, said: “The feedback we have received on the accessories catalogue so far has been positive.
“Draper Tools has followed in the footsteps of other key suppliers by committing to provide data, and we are confident there will be many more to come.”
