Upcoming Autocat v9 to feature enhanced user interface with Euro emissions matching and battery descriptions

MAM Software catalogue update to add new features and functionality

MAM Software has announced a forthcoming update to its popular all-make parts catalogue.

Autocat v9 will add new features, improve the lookup accuracy, and provide even greater ease-of-use.

Trusted by over 11,000 counter staff at motor factors and retailers across the country, Autocat is a comprehensive all-makes parts catalogue that uses registration numbers to quickly identify and compare components for a specific vehicle and application.

The upcoming Autocat v9 release will feature a new product tree, new shortcut buttons and an enhanced user interface, giving users quicker and easier access to popular product information.

The new release will also introduce matching on Euro emissions standards, which will provide greater accuracy when searching for exhaust systems, catalytic converters, EGR valves and lambda sensors.

The addition of extended product descriptions will help users quickly differentiate between standard, start-stop and auxiliary batteries. This will prevent users from inadvertently selling smaller auxiliary batteries in place of starter batteries.

“This new release will continue to advance the functionality and accuracy of Autocat,” said Nigel Clemett, general manager at MAM Software.

“With this latest update, we will again be improving the usability of the catalogue, while at the same time incorporating features to increase the accuracy of the search results it returns.”

Autocat v9 will begin rolling out to existing users next month.
