MANN-FILTER cabin air filter CU 2418-2 consists of a pair of filters, which previously required an additional OE plastic crosspiece.
The new MANN-FILTER CU 2418-2 eliminates the need for this additional OE part.
MANN-Filter said: “Previously CU 2418-2 required an OE plastic crosspiece due to the OE filter manufacturer’s patent.
“The design has been optimised in such a way that MANN-FILTER can now offer a solution that will not infringe on the patent.”
The new MANN-FILTER cabin air filter still consists of the pair of filters, but the required plastic crosspiece is now permanently attached to one of the two filter elements.
