Motaquip has introduced AdBlue injectors and pressure sensor glow plugs to its product range. The AdBlue injectors, manufactured in the UK, feature an aluminium heatsink design for efficient heat dissipation, designed for quick and simple installation.
The injectors have undergone rigorous testing, including life, vibration, salt spray, and thermal shock tests, to ensure durability. They aim to address premature AdBlue injector failures, which can lead to vehicle shutdowns due to crystallised urea blockages or high exhaust temperatures.
Motaquip’s AdBlue injectors cover a range of vehicle applications, including Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, Hyundai, Opel, Renault, Vauxhall, and Ford.
The company has also launched pressure sensor glow plugs, working with Hidria, catering to VAG applications. These glow plugs feature a built-in pressure sensor that measures in-cycle pressure, allowing real-time fuel injection adjustments for optimised combustion. This results in improved engine efficiency, reduced fuel consumption, and lower emissions. Motaquip states that the glow plugs can reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 30%.
