The RAC has agreed a deal with Nebula Systems for the acquisition of its interest in the company.
The decision is in line with the RAC’s strategic focus on growing its core breakdown and insurance businesses alongside a clearer targeting of its telematics approach.
The deal, which has immediate effect, has been agreed mutually and the two businesses will maintain a relationship for the supply of its unique technology in the UK.
Nebula Systems specialise in the development of advanced technologies for the automotive and transport industries.
Its award-winning cloud-based MECH5.com data and diagnostic platform, is the core that powers its connected car products and services.
Nebula Systems chief executive officer and co-founder, Roman Di Lullo said: “My co-founders and I would like to thank The RAC for their support over the last two years and we very much look forward to carrying on our commercial partnership with them in the coming years.”
