OSRAM has been shortlisted for the prestigious Supplier of the Year category at the CAT Awards. This recognition highlights OSRAM’s position as a respected leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
The CAT Awards hold a public vote for the Supplier of the Year category, allowing the industry and consumers to directly recognise outstanding businesses.
OSRAM’s Lighting Marketing Manager, Terri Clark, commented: “OSRAM is honoured to be shortlisted for such a fantastic award, while we’re a German company, we’re very proud of our continued business development in the UK and Ireland and pleased to see that this is reflected in the industry’s opinion of us.
“Our goal is to bring genuine OE quality lighting products to the aftermarket, alongside assisting technicians by sharing our knowledge on the quality bulbs we manufacture and the importance of buying and fitting products that will keep drivers and other road users safe on the road. In addition, over the last couple of years, we have focused on educating drivers on bulb health and encouraging workshops and technicians to look into their bulb offering, and questioning whether they are upselling bulbs to maximise profit opportunities, and supplying and fitting bulbs that are going to be safe for their customers. This will continue to be our focus moving forward and we’re delighted that CAT has recognised our work and shortlisted us for the Supplier of the Year category.”
In recent years, OSRAM has focused on educating drivers about bulb health and encouraging workshops to prioritise offering safe and appropriate bulbs to their customers, rather than upselling for profit. This commitment to safety and quality has been instrumental in their nomination for the Supplier of the Year award.
