Digital training provider, Our Virtual Academy has released part one of ‘diagnosing inlet metered high pressure diesel pumps’ as part of its diesel diagnostics training.
Part one, which is available now, guides technicians through checking the operation of the fuel rail pressure sensor.
An Our Virtual Academy spokesperson said: “The misdiagnosis of a high-pressure diesel pump is an expensive mistake.
“It is important that before you start this course that you have completed both ‘an introduction to common rail diesel’ and ‘testing negative low pressure supply circuits’, to give you a grounding in the layout and operation of the circuits.”
