Our Virtual Academy (OVA) has released a new ‘jump starting’ chapter in its 12V lead-acid batteries course.
Jump starting can sometimes lead to major problems in modern vehicle electrics, warns OVA.
The latest course chapter explores what causes the ‘spikes’ which can damage control units, why they happen, and how to avoid problems.
Jump starting is the final chapter in OVA’s comprehensive 12V lead-acid batteries course, which covers a variety of subjects including the chemistry of batteries, the different battery types available, the different tools available for diagnosis, charging and state of charge.
Completing all these battery courses along with their associated end tests will generate an OVA certificate which can be printed off and displayed.
Subscribers get unlimited access to all OVA online training, 24-hours-a-day.
