Philips has achieved a clean sweep victory in the 2024 Auto Express Headlamp Bulb Mega Test, with both the RacingVision GT200 and X-tremeVision Pro150 receiving perfect scores in their respective categories.
The RacingVision GT200 has secured its third consecutive win in the Halogen test, an unprecedented feat. It’s praised for its high luminance filament and unique glass coating, delivering up to 200% more brightness.
This victory strengthens the bulb’s reputation as the “best performing Halogen Headlamp Bulb ever produced” according to Philips.
The X-tremeVision Pro150, a newcomer to the Auto Express test, earned “Best Buy” status in the H1 category. This bulb offers up to 150% more brightness than standard bulbs and features similar advanced filament design and quartz-glass technology as the RacingVision GT200.
Both bulbs aim to provide a safer and more comfortable driving experience by improving road illumination.
