Watch: Frank Massey explains how to use a PicoScope for wide band lambda
Pico Technology will be taking technicians through everything they need to do to improve CAN bus systems diagnostics.

In the latest of a series of videos, industry expert, Frank Massey looks at how technicians can use the PicoScope for the wide lambda sensor.

The aim of the test is to confirm the correct response from the oxygen sensor, establish the correct function of a five wire air fuel sensor and compare it with load request (air mass meter).

Frank discusses the theory of the test, what is being tested and the simplicity of using a scope for this test.

He covers timebases, current and voltage ranges, and of course the physical connections required.
