Ring has expanded its SmartCharge product range with two new chargers to equip workshops and showrooms with 50A and 60A continuous charging.
Ring’s SmartCharge RSCP5024 and RSCP60T products are designed with the professional in mind, delivering 50 and 60A continuous charging respectively, to deal with the demand of 12V and 24V battery recharging during diagnostic or data upload work.
The two new products expanding Ring’s SmartCharge range are suitable for both workshops and showrooms.
The 50A product’s sleek and compact design means it can be easily concealed for showroom use, and the 60A unit’s robust build can withstand the demands of continuous service in workshop environments.
Henry Bisson, marketing director at Ring, said: “The two new charging products are a step up in our professional power delivery product offering.
“The 50A RSCP5024 is a new iteration of our 30A SmartCharge Pro, now featuring continuous battery support for 12V and 24V for higher capacity batteries.”
The 60A RSCP60T is compatible with stop/start alternators, and its fully insulated high-capacity battery clamps and built-in thermal and overload protection gives operators full confidence of safety. Its 540A jump start function can get vehicles running again in rapid time.
Bisson added: “The 60A RSCP60T has been designed for mixed fleets, capable of delivering 12V and 24V charging in three stages, to help speed up the charging time.
“It’s a three-in-one professional charging solution, with a 60A charger, 540A jump starter and 30A continuous battery support.”
The launch of the RSCP5024 (SRP £449) and RSCP60T (SRP £449) marks the beginning of a sustained effort by Ring to offer more professional battery care products, with the second half of 2022 featuring further launches in the charging and jump starting product range.
