Ring Automotive, a leading provider of aftermarket car accessories, has been shortlisted in two prestigious categories at the CAT Awards: Supplier of the Year and Innovation Award.
Ring has a long history of developing innovative products for the automotive aftermarket, and this recognition by the CAT Awards underscores their industry leadership.
One of the nominations is for Supplier of the Year, an award decided by public vote. You can cast your vote by clicking here.
The other nomination is for the Innovation Award, specifically for their MAGFLEX1000 LED strip light. This highly versatile light can be twisted, bent, and contorted to illuminate various workspaces.
The MAGFLEX1000 features a stretchable strap with 180-degree swiveling hooks, allowing it to span broad areas like under the bonnet, between car doors, or underneath the chassis. It can also be mounted on a ramp as a site light.
The light offers four settings, each with varying durations on a single charge. The lowest setting (400 lumens) lasts for 20 hours, while the highest setting (1,000 lumens) provides light for 3 hours. It also includes a red light option. Recharging the lamp takes approximately seven hours.
Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “Since launching the MAGFLEX1000 halfway through 2024, it’s become a firm favourite with our customers, and not just technicians – we’ve had a variety of professionals buying the MAGFLEX1000 and being thrilled with their purchase.
“The flexibility of the lamp means that professionals do not have to keep changing the light source they have, but can instead adapt the MAGFLEX1000 to suit their needs, saving them precious time when working on jobs. It’s these innovative products that are also fun for technicians to use that make them so popular. We’re thrilled that the MAGFLEX1000 has been recognised by CAT in their awards, it’s a fantastic product and we’re pleased with the positive feedback we’ve had since it’s launch.”
