Ring set to keep parts in supply chain

Ring Automotive has published its response to the coronavirus outbreak.

While the firm has announced that it is shutting its Gelderd Road site in Leeds for a three-week period but has ensured key stocks are in place at UK distributors and confirmed that it will be responding to “additional emergency orders”.

In a statment, Ring Automotive said: “We will be monitoring throughout every day the order input which comes in through the existing platforms including e-mail.

“We will then be doing all possible to send out all orders judged as emergency orders within a short period of time.”

The firm will continue its ambulance manufacturing and supply subsidiary – Ring Carnation.
