Sykes Pickavant has launched the GO1474 Induction Heater (3.5kW), presenting a safer and more efficient solution for common workshop challenges such as seized bolts, bearings, and suspension components. This tool uses flameless heat, enhancing safety and reducing the risk of damage.
The GO1474 generates heat directly within the metal part through an alternating magnetic field, allowing for precision work near heat-sensitive areas. This method removes the need for open flames, which improves safety, lowers risk, and minimises cleanup time and consumable use.
The induction heater is suitable for a range of tasks, including:
- Releasing seized nuts, bolts, and pins.
- Removing suspension parts, shock absorbers, or mufflers.
- Bending or straightening metal components.
- Crankshaft correction.
The GO1474 features a compact design and adjustable power settings, providing control and flexibility. It comes with a Straight Induction Wand (581000038), making it ready for immediate use, with additional accessories available to expand its capabilities.
Key technical specifications include:
- 3.5kW input power, 230V, 1-phase.
- Liquid-cooled system with a 1L tank.
- 2m inductor cable and electrical lead.
- Adjustable frequency (15–30kHz).
- Fan-cooled hydraulic heat exchanger for durability.
Designed for both busy workshops and mobile jobs, the GO1474 offers precision heating, aiming to improve work efficiency and results while maintaining safety standards. For more infomation, please click here.
